The Root Slayer: My New Favorite Shovel

This is an awesome shovel. It is more than just a shovel. Because it is a bit longer than most spade shovels and much stronger I can use it like a crowbar and “pop” up unwanted plants, roots and all, without being afraid that it will bend or break. I bought it originally to dig up honeysuckle stumps and plants since it is an evasive species. With honeysuckle, you MUST get the roots up and cannot just cut off the top. If you want to stay “green” AND get rid of your honeysuckle then this is the tool for you. If I don’t get up the roots then I am forced to use chemicals on the honeysuckle stumps which I prefer not to use.
